Beyond Liberty

Now Reinstated: Alternating Saturdays

Qigong with Horses

Slow down. Breathe deep. Move with intention—in the calming presence of free-roaming horses in their pasture.

Update

Formerly offered on Fridays as Mindful Movement with Horses — We are thrilled to reinstate this class on Alternating Saturdays with a focused Qigong flow!
Embodied Presence

What Is Qigong with Horses?

Qigong (pronounced “chee-gong”) is the ancient art of moving slowly and intentionally, coordinating subtle posture, deep breath awareness, and gentle energy cultivation. It is not about strenuous exercise or performance—it is entirely about presence.

This class blends gentle standing movement, breath-led sequences, and somatic release—shaped by the facilitator’s rich lineage in Qigong, yoga, tai chi, and intuitive mindfulness traditions.

Accessible to all experience levels, this 60-minute outdoor practice encourages gentle self-awareness without judgment or expectations.

Sanctuary Co-Regulation

Why Practice in the Pasture?

Horses live in a continuous state of embodied awareness and nervous system presence. Being in their field invites us to naturally soften, drop our guard, and breathe deeper.

100% Consent-Based

At Beyond Liberty, horses are never halter-led or forced to interact. They move freely across open pasture, choosing whether to approach, rest, or graze nearby.

Nervous System Softening

A horse's heartbeat and rhythmic energy send powerful physiological signals of calm, helping lower human stress levels and settle an overactive mind.

No Mirrors, No Pressure

Leave the indoor studio behind. There are no mirrors, performance demands, or strict form expectations—just fresh air, open sky, and natural groundedness.

Quiet moments of unforced, authentic connection
