Hi, my name is Tag.

I’ve been through quite a journey. Born on the Yakama Reservation in a truck bound for slaughter, my mom and I were rescued by Pregnant Mare Rescue (PMR). After being adopted by a family that promised to keep us together, life took unexpected turns—I was sold multiple times, each time separated from my mom. Adjusting to new people and horses was hard, and I felt scared and confused.

Recently, I found my way back to PMR, where I now have a safe home and a my herd. PMR is giving me everything I need to heal and thrive. I get to graze 24/7 and have yummy hay and grain, but what truly makes a difference is how they honor my individuality. They provide Chaste Berry Powder to help me with emotional balance, supplements for my joints and tissues, toys for play because I’m a playful boy, and CBD to help me stay relaxed.
